Retainer Alert-- For Real This Time

Oh goodness gracious, I'm getting my retainer! :o TOMORROW!!! And honestly, I'm a little freaked out :) But I'll live through it, I'm sure. Is it true you talk funny when you first get it?? More than a few of my friends have commented about that... (in real life, not on 8-P-P-o-H) But whatevah it is, PINKY WILL SURVIVE!! Yeah! Do you guys have confidence in me? Blog ya later! *Pinky*

Midterms... behind me now!

Hopefully aced my midterms today... although it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. That's definitely a perk! :o)  Honestly, I'm just glad they're over... no more studying til 9 PM!! Hurrah!!!! LOLz anything to get out of studying, yep that's me! *Sigh* Everybody have a good night!!  *Pinky*

Delicious Crepe Recipe- and I mean delicious

I'm making these for a late breakfast this morning... they're really good! 
 MMMMM      
               Makes 10 Crepes
~Ingredients~

 -1 cup milk
 -1 cup flour
 -2 eggs
 -1 teaspoon vanilla (for dessert crepes)
 -1 tablespoon sugar (for dessert crepes)
 -1 tablespoon melted butter

~Directions~

    1) Mix the milk, flour, and eggs (and sugar and vanilla if you're making dessert crepes) with a wire whisk or electric mixer. 
    2) Add the butter and continue mixing until the batter is thin and smooth.
    3) Heat a frying pan until droplets of water "dance" on it.
    4) Pour 1/4 cup batter into the pan. When the crepe bubbles and the edges look dry, flip it. Cook for another few minutes until the other side is done.
    5) Fill with your favorite toppings!! Vegetables and cheese are good for savory crepes, and fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate make a dessert crepe FABU!

~Pinky's Secret Crepe Tip: If you're making dessert crepes, Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread) makes them perfect!!!~

Ice Skating or Bust

So happy I joined Girl Scouts!! At 6:00 or so, I'm going ice skating... even though  only three people out of my troop are going so far!! Apparently everyone is either at soccer (in January?? I guess I don't really know, though, cause I don't play) or at dance, or "I never heard about it!! Don't blame ME!" Oh well... I just hope the troop leader doesn't reschedule, cause THAT would be a slight inconvenience, to say the least. Cross your fingers!!        --PINKY!!

Retainer- No More : )

Happiness! I was supposed to get my *scary* retainer on Wednesday the 18th (tomorrow!!!!) but the appointment was moved up to February! Ohhhh yeah!! ;)

"8 Perfect Pairs of Heirs" or "The Westing Game"- My Take on It

Now you can discover what the name "8 Perfect Pairs of Heirs" actually means!!! Here's the secret (LOL, mysterious, aren't I?): OK, so we had to read The Westing Game for school, and a lot of my friends thought it was really boring. I didn't like it either-- I LURVED IT!!! It was so mysterious and cool, and the characters were FABU! (Personally, my favorite characters were Turtle -aka T. R. Wexler xD-, Sydelle Pulaski, Denton Deere and Otis Amber.) I'm not going to spoil the ending for those of you who haven't read it, but it has a REALLY GOOD twist ending... I recommend!! <3 <3
